WakeWell Mission Teams
WakeWell Mission Teams
Love God. Love Others. Love Wake.
What is a WakeWell Mission Team?
WakeWell Mission Teams are groups of passionate volunteers who serve at major wake contests, embodying our core values of loving God, loving others, and loving wake. These teams provide practical support at events while building meaningful connections and pointing riders and attendees toward the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Where Are We Going in 2025?
We’re focusing on serving at four major wake contests across the U.S.:
WWA Nationals | July 30 - Aug 3 | Grand Junction, CO
WWA Wakesurf Masters | Aug 22-24 | Callaway Gardens, GA
WWA Worlds | Sept 9-14 | West Palm Beach, FL
WSWS Wakesurf Worlds | Oct 1-4 | TX or TN (TBD)
Why Join a WakeWell Mission Team?
By serving at wake contests, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Support event logistics and serve wake athletes
Create meaningful connections within the wake community
Share the love of Christ through action and relationships
Be part of an unforgettable experience with a team passionate about wake sports and faith
Participate in Wake Church and inspire others to start WakeWell Chapters in their communities
What Do We Do on a Mission Team?
A WakeWell Mission Team is hands-on and fully engaged in wake events. Our teams serve competitors, spectators, and event staff by:
Providing hospitality and event support
Assisting with logistics behind the scenes
Creating intentional opportunities to share faith
Hosting Wake Church at each event—a space for athletes, spectators, and staff to worship, hear the gospel, and build community
But our mission doesn’t stop at the event. We want to inspire wake athletes and wake enthusiasts to take their faith home—to their lakes and cable parks—by launching WakeWell Chapters, creating lasting faith communities within wake culture.
